Jed Wigley
About Jed
At just 20 years old, Jed Wigley is an emerging actor with a deep passion for realism, cinema, and the art of authentic storytelling. Drawn to performances that are raw and immersive, Jed strives to create beautiful moments that captivate audiences.
Beginning his acting journey at 15, Jed has performed live for the ABC Network at the Seymour Centre and received a double nomination for OnSTAGE. Jed continuously pursues opportunities to refine his craft, training at ATYP, Screenwise, Toni Higginbotham’s acting classes, and JJ Splice Screen Academy.
Inspired by the honesty of coming-of-age classics such as Stand by Me and The Breakfast Club, Jed is particularly drawn to independent cinema and complex characters. He gravitates towards stories that explore human connection, vulnerability, and the intricacies of the human experience. He has a strong desire to evoke genuine emotion and create meaningful connections within his roles.
Beyond formal training, Jed regularly runs scenes in his own time to keep his instincts sharp and his passion for acting alive. While realism and independent film remain at the heart of his interests, he embraces new challenges and welcomes opportunities to explore diverse roles, expand his range, and grow as an actor.
